Grace and Honey Cakes is boutique cake shop located in Costa Mesa, CA, specializing in elegant and inspired desserts for life's happiest moments.  Owner and cake artist Maria Nicoletti prides herself on crafting well-designed, striking, and attention-grabbing designs. Whether you are interested in a cake or petite desserts, Maria will create a delectable, artistic centerpiece for your celebration. She will work closely with you to create a stunning work of art, drawing inspiration from you and all elements of your celebration. 

Grace and Honey Cakes is a long time wish come true for owner Maria Nicoletti. With over ten years experience as a home baker and a passion for all things sweet, Maria is ready and excited to bring her delectable treats to the southern California consumer. Just as she started a cookie business in New York in 2002, her venture ended abruptly by a spontaneous decision to move to Huntington Beach California with her husband Bret.  Since then, Maria has hoped of trying to start a baking business again and now her dreams have come true!   

Maria is a self taught baker, influenced heavily by her mother with whom she always enjoyed baking traditional Greek desserts since an early age.  Layering sheets of phylo between pools of butter and crushed almonds, baklava was Maria's favorite as a child, and she pays homage to it now in the form of a cake.  Maria learned many skills from her mother and has spent the last ten years building on those skills and developing an understanding of the science of baking as well as the artistry of desserts.  

Maria strives for perfection in every dessert she bakes, taking special care to make sure each treat gets better with every bite.  Using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, every cake is baked from scratch with extra love and care.  Maria wants everyone to enjoy her cake creations as much as she has enjoyed developing the flavors and creating her sweet works of art. 

Maria wants to thank her loving husband Bret of 18+ incredible years!  Without his love, support, and undying patience, this would not be possible.  Also much love and kisses to her adorable 11 year old Boston Terrier Rooney, whom this bakeshop was originally named after.
